Filler

Here's Spoony and Brad Jones talking about how horrible the Transformers movies are.

  1. Meh. Besides understanding why ROTF is considered the worst entry but the first film and the third film aren't that bad.

Besides, I've seen Warriors of Virtue, I've seen Birdemic and I've even seen The Room. See those and come back to me.

Oh, and I disagree with the last two being so good, it's bad. To me, they're so bad, it's...bad. Redundant statement yes, but I just don't care for them.

    1. The first film and the third, as well as the second are blights on cinema. The others you mentioned suck too, but Bay is the worst director ever. Period.

    2. Even so, Bay's an autuer in his own right. He does believe in his work and does put in effort into his work.

I wouldn't say the same for someone like Uwe Boll who seems to be only interested in publicity and attention.

    3. Leni Riefenstahl was an auteur who believed in her work too. Bay's movies are just as bigoted as any of her's.

    4. I can't say I agree as I never heard of her or her work before.

But look at it this way, even the most talented admire Bay's work such as Joss Whedon and Christopher Nolan. We'll have to agree to disagree though and this is coming from someone who has seen a Paul Thomas Anderson film recently.

    5. Good for them, I don't. Bay's movies are sexist and racist.

    6. I call it knowing what his audience wants. At least say "Jill and Bob."

I hate racism and sexism with a passion but I never heard of such accusations. Besides, Spielberg fired Megan Fox if that's what your implying really. (Seriously, she never saw Schindler's List or knew he was Jewish?)

But like him or hate him, he makes damn good action scenes.

    7. No he doesn't, the action sequences are complete shit. I can't even tell what is happening in them. Look at "Avengers" for a good action scene.

"What the audience wants?" So we want women who can't act, but show their asses just fine while draped over motorcycles in unnatural ways. Maybe an underwear model should have played Black Widow instead of an actor like Scarlet Johannson!

And no racism? Really? "We don't really read!" Skids and Mudflap may as well have been white guys in blackface! And Alan Tudyk's over the top stereotype of a gay character?! These are just a few examples, I can easily find more.

Bay makes movies for idiot rednecks! "Avengers" didn't resort to any of this shit.

    8. I never compared The Avengers to Michael Bay's films as it's pointless considering they have different executions, different visions and everything else.

And this is from someone who loves The Avengers. I wouldn't say I approve of what was done in ROTF as the twins were in bad taste and perhaps a Victoria Secret's model isn't the brightest idea but he does try to make fun entertainment.

Besides, I prefer the live action movies over the G1 cartoon.

    9. You may grade on a curve, but I don't. Shit is shit.

Different visions. Yes, it was a different vision. Whedon wanted to make a good movie. Bay wanted to make movies that KKK members could ejaculate over. It's porn for white, stupid, inbred racists.
